Luke 1:15

"For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb."
"Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them."
"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,"

Have you guessed yet as to the topic of this writing? Yes, it is that most horrid act of murder ever - that being the abortion of one's child. I am going to post a couple of photographs of aborted babies, so be warned if you wish not to see them.

There are a great many verses in The Holy Bible regarding man's creation and life. These are three of the many. In Luke 1:15, "and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit yet in his mother's womb."  How very powerful that statement is! If we are told that we were filled with The Holy Spirit even when we were in our mother's womb, does that not mean that we are a new life? We are living beings, not yet with arms or legs, but an embryo fertilized and beginning its growth in the mother's womb is still LIVING! It is growing and sustaining through its umbilical cord attached to the mother, getting it's blood, nutrition and oxygen from her.

Psalm 139:16 states that the Lord has seen the "unformed substance". This is, to me, a witnessing that God has seen one in its mother's womb and has already written its life into its own Book of Life before it is even born! God knew us before were were even born, even before we were created between a man and a woman. If God knew us and by His power caused the egg in the woman's womb to accept its fertilization, that baby IS a living thing! Just as you plant a seed, care for it, water it, and fertize it, you have helped God to create something that is alive. If it were not alive, it would not continue to grow, but would wither away into the dust.

And the third verse from Dueteronomy is the most powerful. God asks us to choose life so that we may also live. This verse can be interpreted in many ways

All three verses cause a pit in my belly because of the endless murdering and mutilation of the unborn. There are thousands of babies aborted every day. Don't believe it when you are told that it is not murder because IT IS!

In my mind, the most complicated and beautiful creation God has ever made is the human life. God had to love his creation from the beginning; until Eve talked Adam into eating fruit from the Forbidden Tree.  Nevertheless, God created humanity beginning with using of the dust on the ground to create man.

From the moment the egg is fertilized, it becomes a living being. The growth of a child in a woman's women is the greatest of miracles. So, why do people treat it so carelessly? It is a matter of choosing between life and death, not just of the fetus, but also your own life.

It is baffling to me that in this day and age, that even a young teen might become pregnant. Parents teach, or should teach, abstinence. But of course, there are those who will not listen or conduct themselves in what has become "prudish" (sadly) to Just Say No!!

Then there are adults who especially should know better than to take that chance. There are condoms of many different sizes and colors (am I selling you a blouse???) that can help prevent pregnancy.  If you don't have the money, go to the Health Department and get on "the pill" to prevent pregnancy. And should you become pregnant anyway, it's a no brainer that you must carry this child until it is born. After that, you may leave the baby for adoption into a good home, or keep it! Isn't that a marvel idea?

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, this single sin causes me much emotion and torments my mind. To think that as I sit here writing this, a woman is MURDERING her child. There are literally thousands of couples who cannot conceive and would love to adopt your baby. Then you will have saved your salvation by no commiting murder, and you can confess your unchaste behavior and be forgiven and not commit the sin again. But to abort a tiny baby that you conceived through your own bad choices, is yours and it is up to you what you will do. It is not a stigma that it used to be to see pregnant teens in the hallways at school. What matters most is what you choose to do about the baby.

Please, please, avoid committing an ultimate sin and kill your child in your womb because you got all hot and had sex willingly, thereby becoming pregnant. There is a better choice for you.

I will be perfectly honest with you. I conceived a child at the age of 17. We married and I was in love with love. It wasn't long before the young man hit me for the first time, and then shoved me into a window, breaking it, when I was in my 8th month. When you are at that age, you do not know enough about the world to know what to do. All you know is that you have this baby and the father comes and goes as he pleases and over the course of three years, he left and came back numerous times, AND he abused me several times. I don't need pity and it is difficult to tell you this, but if it helps one woman, it is worth it! I came from a good home, strict parents who loved me, but this guy was so doggone handsome and we began dating and one thing led to another, and you know what happened. I guess I felt lucky at the time, but I paid dearly for one bad choice.

By the way, our marriage lasted less than three years, and I KEPT MY BABY! I was single for the next six years. I am a convert to Catholicism, but my parents were pentecostal and abortion was not an option. I thought I was so grown up and then the baby was growing and it was so hard being a young mother with a wild husband. BUT I KEPT MY BABY! I keep saying that so you know that there are good choices afterall. Keep your baby, and let some nice couple who pray for a child adopt yours.  My baby is now 45 years old and my pride in her overflows. She has an awesome husband she met in church. She has three children and has dedicated herself to raising her children. She once told me, "I don't care if my house is messy or whatever, I'm not missing one moment with my children to mop a floor!" Her oldest is my only granddaughter and she is graduating from High School this year. She is so level headed and strikingly beautiful. She has already been accepted into college. So I feel that just our relationship is the best I could ever imagine.

There's always an option; MURDER is not one of them.
