(Mark 12:1-12)
Prayer: O Jesus, I will give you all of the harvest.
Imagination (Picture Jesus with His disciples.)
Jesus bases this parable upon actual circumstances. In Galilee there were many foreign owners who leased the land to tenants. God is the owner and these tenants are the Scribes who claim to possess God’s word. However, they kill the Son so that the owner will give the vineyard to new tenants. This is a crisis parable which is meant to wake you up!
Gospel Text (Read slowly, possibly aloud.)
A man planted a vineyard and then leased it out to tenant farmers and went on a journey. In due time, he dispatched a man to gain his share of the produce.
However, they beat him and sent him off empty handed. He sent another. They beat him shamefully. He sent another and they killed him. He sent even more. They beat some and killed others.
Finally, he sent his only son thinking that they would show him respect. But the tenants said to one another, “This one will inherit everything. Let us kill him and the vineyard will be ours.”
What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will destroy those tenants and give the vineyard over to others.
Thoughts (Read all. Ponder the ones that attract you.)
  1. God has given you the vineyard of your faith. He expects the fruits of worship and goodness.
  2. He sends preachers and teachers to remind you of your duties.       Do not ignore them.
  3. He sends interior messengers, his inspirations within you.       Do not reject them.
  4. He sends the light of your conscience. Do not extinguish this.
  5. Finally, he sends a Fear of the Lord. What do you do with that?
  6. Wake up or else you will lose your faith and your immortal soul.
Affections: (When one touches your heart, use your own words.)
  1. Jesus, I thank you for my faith.
  2. You have given me the vineyard of eternal life.
  3. What do you want of me, O Lord, so I can be your faithful tenant?
  4. O Jesus, let me never forget that you are the owner of my soul.
  5. Send your messengers, O Lord. Ask for all the rent you want. I will give anything to remain in your vineyard!
Resolutions: (Possibly you might want to make your own.)
  1. I will give God his share of this day. I will pray and help others.
  2. I will find time to thank God for my gift of faith.
Thought for the Day: (To recall your meditation)
All the owner wanted was his rent.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mark 13:26

I cannot help but wonder how it will be when the day and the hour of Jesus' return to earth occurs.  How will the entire world be able to see him at once? A common assumption is "on television". Some believe that television cameras will be upon Jesus' second coming and that this is how we will all see him at once. I'm not sure about that notion, even though it makes sense.

But Christ is more powerful than we know. It is impossible to imagine ALL of the things that are known to Jesus and the Father. It is impossible to envision the creation of the earth and that is natural to the earth. I sit and look at the skies often and remain in a state of wonderment. "How will it be?", I ask myself. "Is he coming today?" "Will he be here in a few minutes, hours, days, months? When will He come and save us all?"

If Jesus is accompanied by thousands upon thousands, ten thousand by ten thousand angels, imagine the majesty and glory!!

The righteous will fall to their knees and open their arms wide to receive Him. The wicked ill run and hide, but there will be no place on this earth where evil will elude Jesus.

Personally, I hope that Jesus comes soon. I am so ready for Him. My love burns in His flaming heart and that of our Mother. Will it be like a spirit form where we cannot touch him or his angels, but that our hands pass through their images?

There are so  many questions and all of them are impossible to answer except to say "believe" and "have faith". Be ready because he could come at any day or hour. And you don't want Jesus to find you drunk or in a state of committing a sinful act, do you? Imagine how you would feel if Jesus looked at you and said "no, you are not ready for me. You must stay behind for a while." Oh the devastation! I want to be in that number who look up, never to look down again, never to worry about anyone or anything ever again. I look forward to the time that I reach heaven and see its beauty and feel that total love all around and within my soul.

I want Jesus to teach me to never have any doubt about Him. I want to be a good disciple for Him. I want to believe in and see His blessings. I have many mountains within myself that need to be cast into the sea. Jesus, help me to believe that if I ask it of you, it will be done.

So, today I will as God in faith to remove the greatest mountain in my life, and I will trust that the words that I use in prayer are shared in the power of Jesus. I do have mountains, but one in particular that needs to be removed. I have prayed, but I can only feel that I have not had enough faith to fully give it to Him so that he can move it for me. On this, I must work harder.

Do you have a mountain or mountains in your own life that need to be moved? Our problem is that when we pray, we have the thought deep within ourselves that screams "I want it NOW!" Patience, my friends, is a very fine virtue. Be wise, be happy, live your life righteously and surround yourselves with righteous people, believe that He is going to move that mountain for you, and He will. It just takes faith!

Jesus love you! And He will be here soon, so be ready! You don't want to be left behind, right? Follow the lead and you will be in that special group of millions who will go with Jesus to heaven first. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Lovingly in Jesus,

The Angel said to the woman, Do not be afraid,
for I know that you are looking for Jesus,
who was crucified, He is not here;
HE has RISEN, just as He said.
Matthew 28 - 5

People don't think much about their hearts, other than it keeps them alive! They have their surgeries for stopped-up arteries, but seemed hell-bound on returning to their vices (bad ones!).  We can see the muscle of the heart, the chambers and the valves and vessels.  But if you are a true Christian, Jesus is also there.

Jesus in your heart is intangible. You cannot see him unless you closed your eyes. The Holy Spirit lives there also and again, it something intangible.

We have all been asked to believe in this book, the greatest selling book of all time,The Holy Bible. We are to believe that Jesus is real, but we cannot see nor touch him.

Your relationship with the Holy Trinity as a whole is based on faith and trust. It is based on believing, at the very top of your list, in something which you cannot see.

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

This is where you want to be in your thinking. None of us no longer live, not in the natural scheme of things of this world. When we accepted The Holy Trinity into our hearts and lives, we cease to live primarily FOR earthly reasons, but make our mission one geared toward going to heaven at the end of our lives. Not to mention, living a Christ-like existence is a far more happier existence than without him. Face it! YOU NEED HIM and he needs to know that you love him also.

Do your best; that's all anyone, even Jesus, expects of you. He knows you're going to fall and stumble, but the important thing is this: Will you ask Him to help you? You must! There will never be a betrayal of your feelings and thoughts because Jesus and God know what is in your heart without you having to state it in every prayer.

Oh, it is such a beautiful life, but it is very short and we can only imagine what our rewards will be like when we get to heaven.  I want to see you there!!

The wonderful thing about God’s schoolroom is that we get to grade our own papers.  You see, He doesn’t test us so He can learn how well we’re doing.  He tests us so we can discover how well we’re doing.
Charles Swindoll

This statement is simple enough - but only works if you are completely non-prejudiced about yourself.  And who can do that, really?

On the other hand, you must try, and you must be a close to a non-prejudiced opinion about the things you live and do in your own lives. That is why God gave man free will. Maybe He regrets it, we'll never know, but it was given for a reason, obviously.

Stand in front of the mirror every evening before you pray and go to sleep. Look into your own eyes and ask yourself, "was I generous, kind, helpful, prayerful," and so many other things "today?"  We have our own litmus test and it is contained throughout our Holy Bible.  Especially in the Gospels, Jesus lays it all out quite clearly. God had plans; beautiful, big ones, for this world in which we live. He did not give up on the first run. No, he flooded it and all but Noah and his family and 2 of each species of animals perished. Then the floods went away and land was seen once again.

Is the third time a charmer? Uh, doesn't appear to be that way and the time for judgment is not terribly far away. I ask myself almost daily "am I worthy?" My answer to myself is honest: You have to live each day according to the will of God in order to be worthy. So, it never stops, you never stop and you teach your children to love God and Jesus and to live their lives in the same way as you are living yours.

The best lessons are taught by example. If families gather around the dinner table each night, pray and share food and conversation, I can guarantee you that you are going to see a huge difference that that family when compared to the one where the kids eat in their rooms or everyone in front of a television, or the kids are too involved in their video games to stop. About that, I believe in this day and age that parents have gone WAY overboard on purchasing electronics to keep the minds of their children busy.  When we have family dinner for everyone, it's usually every other weekend, I can guarantee you that I've changed so much that when I walk into the living room after dinner, my grandchildren, step-children, children - they are all looking down at their iPhones! It is really annoying, but I don't say anything. I did sneak a photo (which I won't publish) after dinner one evening, but you cannot even shame them into putting down their phones and interacting with dear ole Mom and Dad.

But, I've digressed - pardon. The end is coming, and in my most humble opinion, I believe it could even be in my lifetime, or at the latest, in children's lifetimes. I want all of my loved ones in heaven; I want to be in heaven for all eternity. But I don't take it for granted. People say, "of course you'll be in heaven, Abbey!", but NEVER, EVER take your salvation for granted. For once you do, you let your guard down and that leaves a huge opening for satan's angels to begin slowly taking over all that you've believed in and lived for years. You risk the total destruction of your personal salvation.

I am not willing to risk it. Additionally, I have no greater respect for anyone, heaven or earth, than I do our Lord Jesus!  When I told my therapist how often I say "I'm sorry, please forgive me" for certain sins over my lifetime, I was surprised when she said "why?"  Well, firstly, because I do NOT take my salvation for granted. And I know the Bible says we only need absolution once, but as I told her, "after all He went through FOR ME, nothing I have been through or ever will go through compares on any level, I don't care what level it is!" (Maybe she doesn't realize I'm Catholic? <smile>)

Remember, keep tabs on yourself and those whom you love. Look in that mirror every evening and as yourself how well you did as a Christian that day. Then you can go into prayer knowing your own faults, and they are only between you and Jesus, so you can apologize to Him and nobody is going to judge you! You may even get a second chance to redeem yourself!

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?

Lovingly in Jesus Christ,

I don't believe I've ever used my website to make big political statements, but if you will allow me, and you can choose to read or not read it, I received the following last night from a very good friend.

This was sent to me and I pass it on for what it's worth. Don't mean it as a political statement, I consider it a warning and it scares the h--- out of me especially with what happened in Chicago.  Things are way out of control and no one should be a "target" no matter what their affiliation AND the American people are better than this and deserve better.

Written by the distinguished Bill Bennett about Donald Trump. PHD - Secretary of Education under Ronald Reagan Cultural studies at the distinguished and renown Heritage Foundation

Interesting take on Trump. William J. Bennett, Host of Bill Bennett's Morning in America Show, is one of America's most important, influential, and respected voices on cultural, political, and education issues. He has one of the strongest Christian world views of any writer in modern times.

What I See Happening In a Trump Presidency
By Bill Bennett

"They will kill him before they let him be president. It could be a Republican or a Democrat that instigates the shutting up of Trump.

Don’t be surprised if Trump has an accident. Some people are getting very nervous: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine, to name just a few.

It's about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it's in all of their interests to protect one another. It's one for all and all for one. It’s a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened.

Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart.

It's no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The Donald. It's because most of the other politicians are part of the a good old boys club. They talk big, but they won’t change a thing. They are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations, and multinational corporations – like Big Pharmacy or Big Oil. Or they are owned lock, stock, and barrel by foreigners like George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary and their Clinton Foundation donations.

These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there's one man who isn't beholden to anyone. There's one man who doesn't need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teacher's union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund his campaign.

Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help. That means he doesn’t care what the media says. He doesn’t care what the corporate elites think. That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests. That makes Trump a huge threat to those people. Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.

Don’t you ever wonder why the GOP has never tried to impeach Obama? Don’t you wonder why John Boehner and Mitch McConnell talk a big game, but never actually try to stop Obama? Don’t you wonder why Congress holds the purse strings, yet has never tried to de-fund Obamacare or Obama’s clearly illegal executive action on amnesty for illegal aliens? Bizarre, right? It defies logic, right?

First, I'd guess many key Republicans are being bribed. Secondly, I believe many key Republicans are being blackmailed. Whether they are having affairs, or secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency knows everything.

Ask former House Speaker Dennis Hastert about that. The government even knew he was withdrawing large sums of his own money from his own bank account. The NSA, the SEC, the IRS, and all the other three-letter government agencies are watching every Republican political leader. They surveil everything. Thirdly, many Republicans are petrified of being called racists, so they are scared to ever criticize Obama or call out his crimes, let alone demand his impeachment. Fourth , why rock the boat? After defeat or retirement, if you’re a good old boy, you’ve got a $5 million-per-year lobbying job waiting. The big-money interests have the system gamed. Win or lose, they win.

But Trump doesn’t play by any of these rules. Trump breaks up this nice, cozy relationship between big government, big media, and big business. All the rules are out the window if Trump wins the Presidency. The other politicians will protect Obama and his aides but not Trump. Remember: Trump is the guy who publicly questioned Obama's birth certificate. He questioned Obama's college records and how a mediocre student got into an Ivy League university. Now, he's doing something no Republican has the chutzpah to do. He's questioning our relationship with Mexico; he's questioning why the border is wide open; he's questioning why no wall has been built across the border; he's questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in our best interests; he's questioning why so many illegal aliens commit violent crimes, yet are not deported; and he's questioning why our trade deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.

Trump has the audacity to ask out loud why American workers always get the short end of the stick. Good question! I'm certain Trump will question what happened to the almost billion dollars given in a rigged no-bid contract to college friends of Michelle Obama at foreign companies to build the defective Obamacare website. By the way, that tab is now up to $5 billion. Trump will ask if Obamacare's architects can be charged with fraud for selling it by lying. Trump will investigate Obama's widespread IRS conspiracy, not to mention Obama's college records. Trump will prosecute Clinton and Obama for fraud committed to cover up Benghazi before the election. How about the fraud committed by employees of the Labor Department when they made up dramatic job numbers in the last jobs report before the 2012 election?

Obama, the multinational corporations and the media need to stop Trump. They recognize this could get out of control. If left unchecked, telling the raw truth and asking questions everyone else is afraid to ask, Trump could wake a sleeping giant. Trump's election would be a nightmare. Obama has committed many crimes. No one else but Trump would dare to prosecute. He will not hesitate. Once Trump gets in and gets a look at the cooked books and Obama's records, the game is over. The goose is cooked. Holder could wind up in prison. Jarrett could wind up in prison. Obama bundler Corzine could wind up in prison for losing $1.5 billion of customer money. Clinton could wind up in jail for deleting 32,000 emails or for accepting bribes from foreign governments while Secretary of State, or for misplacing $6 billion as the head of the State Department, or for lying about Benghazi. The entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison.

Obamacare will be de-funded and dismantled. Obama himself could wind up ruined, his legacy in tatters. Trump will investigate. Trump will prosecute. Trump will go after everyone involved. That’s why the dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump.

Yes, it's become open season on Donald Trump. The left and the right are determined to attack his policies, harm his businesses, and, if possible, even keep him out of the coming debates. But they can't silence him. And they sure can't intimidate him. The more they try, the more the public will realize that he's the one telling the truth".

Please don't delay in forwarding to your fellow Americans...

I have been studying scripture in Genesis 27-28 regarding how it came to pass that Jacob had his dream of a ladder from heaven from and to which angels and such came and went.

There was much discourse in the region at that time, and discourse came between Esau and his brother, Jacob, over a blessing their father, Isaac. He had sent Esau to kill venison or even a lamb, as his mother asked, because Isaac was very old and blind. He promised Esau to give him a special blessing if he returned with the meat Isaac, his father, so favored.

However, Jacob arrived first with the lambs he had slain as a gift to Isaac. He was in fear that Isaac would know by touching him that he was not his son, Esau. But nevertheless, Isaac gave Jacob the special blessing. This became a bone of contention between Esau and Jacob, so Isaac sent Jacob away
Genesis 28:3-8 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughers of Canaan;
And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram;
And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father; Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13 And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not.

Last night while sleeping, I dreamt vividly about Jacob's ladder. I was lying prostrate praising God as all of the, what seemed like, thousands of people were doing. When I realized where I was, I no fear, no doubts - I was in heaven and I was joyfully praising our Loving God. I dared to turn my face to my right and saw the bottom of a glowing white robe ascending the stairs. I dared not look up, but I knew that it was Jesus!

There were thousands of Angels, sweet little angels who were so happy all of the time. I want to be happy all of the time one day. I want to be happy while here on earth. Nothing will be happy without Jesus and the Father.

Dreams like these are the best, and since I have had so much turmoil going on within myself for some time, the dream did much to soothe my soul.

I believe, I trust, I love, I have faith. I, too, want all the blessings heaven can rain down upon me, to be chosen as worthy for this place.

Lovingly in Jesus Christ,

(John 20:19-23)
Prayer: Jesus, breathe upon me and send your Holy Spirit.
Imagination: (Picture the Risen Jesus appearing to the fearful disciples.)
Jesus comes to the frightened disciples on Easter Sunday night. This is “John’s Pentecost”, because Jesus bestows the Holy Spirit. At Pentecost, Luke speaks of the disciples praying in tongues. John’s gospel goes deeper. Having received the Spirit, the apostles will be able to forgive sins.
Gospel Text: (Read slowly, possibly aloud)
Late that same day, the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together, the doors were locked for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be to you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Therefore, he said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I send you. Having said this, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you shall forgive, are forgiven them. Whose sins you retain, are retained.”
Thoughts (Read all. Ponder the ones that attract you.)
  1. Jesus will use these disciples as the church’s foundation.
  2. Filled with fear, they are not ready for the task.
  3. They lock the doors. How could they go out to all the world?
  4. How they need Jesus!
  5. Jesus’ body has new qualities. He now comes through locked doors.
  6. He is the same Jesus of Nazareth with wounds in his hands and side.
  7. Seeing Jesus has immediate effects. Joy replaces fear.
  8. Jesus’ words, “Peace be with you.” Reestablish a relationship broken by the apostles running away.
  9. He breathes on them (as God breathed life into Adam) and gives them God’s Holy Spirit.
  10. They share Jesus’ greatest power. They, too, can take away the sins of the world.
Affections: (When one touches your heart, use your own words.)
  1. O Jesus, please come. I am filled with so many fears.
  2. You are risen. You can come anywhere. Come, Lord Jesus.
  3. Jesus, say your special words in my heart, “Peace be with you.”
  4. Show me your wounds, and I will know it is you.
  5. Breathe on me, Jesus, and I will have eternal life.
  6. Send me. I will go to the whole world.
  7. Thank you for a Church which can forgive my sins, Jesus. They are so numerous.
Resolutions: (Possibly you might want to make your own.)
  1. I will use the sacrament of Confession frequently.
  2. I will ask Jesus for his Holy Spirit.
Thought for the day: (To recall your meditation)
He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Basking in the Joy of the Holy Spirit Always, Everywhere, Now and Forever!

by Anthony Mullen
As we complete this series…on the Personal Love between the Father and the Son…we will meditate on why we must always be begging for “Joy and the Holy Spirit”…since Joy is the Fruit of Charity (and to the Holy Spirit is appropriated the personal Charity or agape Love between the Father and the Son)…. and Peace is Joy perfected. So, since our mission is to Love as God Loves, and since we are heirs of God’s Love as His true children, we must possess His Joy! Think about that fact: we possess the Joy of God! What Father wants His children to be sad, hesitant, or fearful? God’s Will is for us to be constantly Joy filled…at every moment…despite our imperfections! God desires us to be Joy filled because of our imperfections (as long as we never give up fighting them) so He can show His Mercy….the greatest attribute of His Divine Love! We should Rejoice in our lowliness and imperfections as long as we desire to Love! God so desires our JOY!
So, we must be Joy filled, Joyous…always thinking, speaking and acting in Joy! Let us think on these seven facts of JOY based in a meditation by a brother in Christ from Africa.
1. We were chosen out of nothingness by an infinite God to exist for God for all eternity through His Love in order to Love Him for all eternity. We are…we exist…solely to be free to Love God in Joy. This is our only purpose!
2. We are children of an Infinite God, the Creator of all things. We are heirs of the All Powerful Being of Love who desires that we share all His Power with Him!
3. On this earth, we are Temples of God! The angels marvel at God dwelling in our souls when we are in a state of Grace. Acknowledge the greatness which God has given you in that He freely chooses to dwell within your soul!! Oh, JOY, JOY! JOY!
4. A Mansion has been prepared in Heaven for you by God for all eternity by this same God who died a horrible death so you can live in His Mansion for all eternity with Him and experience perfect Love for all eternity!
5. You are a blessing by God placed in the world at the perfect time to give God Joy! He chooses to receive Joy from those very few who are willing to give up their self-love on earth and He blesses the world through you. Yes, through your meager, loving efforts to please Him, He grants pardon to sinners who otherwise would be lost for all eternity so He can rejoice with you in this cooperating Love! Rejoice, I say again rejoice!
6. Your All-Powerful God has personally intervened to protect you throughout your life in countless ways, which you will see in Heaven. He has had an angel constantly at your side to protect you and guide you. This is why you are where you are in your spiritual life! He will protect you from all that is to come if you but trust in His Love! He will part the Red Sea for you as well…if that is what is required to protect you from His enemies!
7. He has given you His own Mother…the perfect Mother…and you share her with Him! He has given her to us and wants us to treat her as He did! Yet, she desires to do for us everything she did for Him! We have a Mother who knows us personally and seeks to give us all that she has received from God! We are brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ sitting at the Wedding Banquet of Eternal Joy!
Think often about these “SEVEN JOYS NOW & FOREVER”. When you are tempted to be sad or fearful or irritated, instead say NO! I know the SEVEN JOYS NOW & FOREVER! God will be disappointed in me for not being Joy Filled! I choose JOY! Satan is the one trying to steal my JOY! Fear and uncertainty have NO place in my life! I have memorized the SEVEN JOYS NOW & FOREVER! I am JOY!
We have been given the first fruits of JOY now as our eternal inheritance! Moreover, we have the first fruits of the Joy that will exist in the New Pentecost, the Era of Peace, the Glorious Reign of the Holy Spirit! Let us meditate every day on what God has done for us! Let us be filled with Joy. Let us bring Joy to all; let us smile in Joy at everything…for nothing can separate us from the love of Christ! Let us think about the constant action of the Holy Spirit within us so we can discern His inspirations and correspond to them in Joy! There is nothing to be afraid of…absolutely nothing that should cause us worry or concern…for the more we rely on Him, the more we allow Him to think, speak and act within us, the greater will be our Joy! God desires to do all for us, to be all for us…for every single thing is caused or permitted by Him for our greater eternal glory! Your glory is increased for all eternity each time you are Joyous for God and with God! God is JOY! JOY is ours now and forever! Rejoice, I say again REJOICE! Amen!

(John 21:15-19)
Prayer: O Jesus, fill my heart with love so I can serve you.
Imagination: (Picture Jesus speaking with Peter on the share of Galilee.)
This text is extremely important. In Matthew’s gospel, Jesus gives Peter the Keys to the Kingdom. In this passage, Jesus also gives Peter authority, using the image of “feeding the sheep.”
Gospel Text: (Read slowly, possibly aloud)
After they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He answered, ‘Lord you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” A second time, Jesus said, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Tend my sheep.” A third time, Jesus said, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Simon was annoyed because he asked a third time. He said, “Lord you know all things. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”
“Amen, amen I say to you. When you were younger, you would dress yourself and go where you wanted. When you are old, you will stretch out your hands and another shall lead you where you do not want to go.” With these words, Jesus signified by what kind of death Peter would glorify God. Then he said, “Follow me.”
Thoughts: (Read all. Ponder those that attract you.)
  1. Jesus’ three questions give Peter an opportunity to reverse his three denials.
  2. For Jesus, Peter’s personal love is important. He had to know where Peter’s heart was.
  3. Assured of his love, Jesus makes Peter the guiding Shepherd of the Church.
  4. Jesus speaks of Peter’s first moments, when his task concludes.
  5. The impetuous Peter won’t choose his path. His young man’s strength will fail.
  6. He will go where others take him. This requires spiritual maturity.
Affections: (When one touches your heart, use your own words.)
  1. Lord, you always give me an opportunity.
  2. I will correct my errors and undo my mistakes.
  3. Lord, please ask me if I love you.
  4. Lord, you know where my heart is. Claim it as your own.
  5. You know everything, O Lord. You know my call. You know my future. You know the moment of my death.
  6. I will go where you want me to go.
  7. Your final words touch my heart. “Follow me”, you say.
Resolutions: (Possibly you might want to make your own.)
  1. I will hear Jesus’ question in my soul, “Do you love me?”
  2. I will follow Jesus until I die.
Thought for the Day: (To recall your meditation)
Lord, you know that I love you.

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
Frustration is not the will of God.  There is time to do anything and everything that God wants us to do.
Elisabeth Elliot

This Day's Verse
For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
1 Corinthians 14:33
The New International Version

This Day's Smile
We have to pray long, but with few words.

Louis Evely

Greetings dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

As I read the above, I find that they are all connected and good guidance with regard to our God. We all have those moments when things do not go well, a cake you burned, the screw that fell from your engine job and you cannot find it, the kids want your attention when your attention is geared at that moment to preparing their dinner, and so many other "frustrations". Today's Thought is good news for you if you are one of those people, and most people are prone to frustration on a daily basis.

But God gets in no hurry, as evidence by the time he takes to answer prayers at times. No, he has to go through much thought to be sure that he is giving what is just and right for you.

As great as God is, can you imagine him being disorderly? Well, I do sometimes wonder where he finds all of the people of this world begging him for this and that and he has to keep it sorted. Again, he is not a God of frustration; he takes his time; and his message is always one of PEACE and LOVE.

About prayer, everyone has their own way of speaking to God. But God knows you mind and heart in and out, and therefore, not many words need to be spoken.

I'm a very emotional individual. I become attached to others problems as well as my own and I try to pray for them also. But I have come to a place where I say the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be, before I begin my prayers. Sometimes I just feel that it is enough to just talk to him and affirm that you know he knows what is on your heart, what is troubling you, and what you need.

I become very emotional talking with Jesus and God. I love them so much and I know that they know that also. But as I speak, I well up and then come the tears. Sometimes, I just need to open my heart and unleash the things that are bringing me down, things that are troubling. And I am not ashamed to say that I do ALWAYS cry.  I am a crier. My grandmother was, and so was my aunt, and now it is me. My legacy seems strong but I wouldn't know if they cry. But it seems I cannot block the dam that holds in my great love and dependence on Jesus and our Father.

In summary on this, you do not have to say as lot to God and Jesus; for they know what is on your heart. Just ask for His Mercies, Graces, and Forgiveness. Maybe you need a blessing for someone you know.  So, do not get in a hurry about things and allow them to frustrate you. God will be shaking his head "why do he/she get so worked up? Have they forgotten that I have everything under control?" And "don't they know that I want them to live a life of peace."  Lastly, when you pray, remember, God doesn't need a book to know what's on your heart. Just spend some time with him and let him know how much you love him, for there is tremendous emotion in the greatness of love for God!

May God bless you with a beautiful Mother's Day weekend! God bless and Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!

1 JOHN 4:10 THIS IS LOVE ....

1-john 4:10

Dearest Friends in Christ,

I have been away for a bit, but you can always count on me to return! I've had/have some health issues that need addressing and I'm not quite finished with that yet, but I miss bringing good news to all of you!

I do wonder about the people of B.C.  I believe they "worshipped" "their God", but was it the same God we worship. God gave us a world with many, many moving parts, some with beating hearts, and some that are like the weather, which God controls also.

I'll admit that I am no scholar on The Old Testament, but those who lived before the time of Christ did not have someone who died to save them from their sin and offer them the key to Heaven. Do you ever stop to think how very fortunate we are as God's chosen people? Thinking about people of long ago is almost like they didn't live, like a story, for example.

But, they did live, and because there was so much sin in the world, and God was so displeased with His people, He had Noah build the arc, bring a male and female of all species so that the world would be replenished again; and then, he flooded the earth to eliminate all the worshipping of false idols or gods, women behaving in such a spectacle way and men fighting over women and animals, and much more. Stop for a moment and think of the entire world that lived on this earth that was washed away so the God could begin again with his project of great love - Mother Earth and its inhabitants.

This brings a question to my mind and I do not have the answer, but, does this mean that we are all related to Noah and his family? How many more miracles did God create in order to have such a variety of  people in this world? Just something to ponder . . . .

God is Love, that should be more than obvious! The miracles that we as a people have seen and marveled didn't just happen on their own. Didn't something of a higher power have to create them? Of course! Every miracle is created by God out of his love, every prayer answered is out of his love, just a good night's sleep and waking rested is a miracle of love.

So, instead of destroying earth and all its inhabitants, God created his son in the womb of a woman he found worthy above all others, to be born and to die for our sins so that we have forgiveness and the greatest love of all to pardon us so that we may one day live in God's Kingdom.

To create your child and have him grow to giving sermons to all in his path, and then to watch him suffer so much pain, and finally die ..... no other love is more powerful than this. You won't be able to love as much as God loves, but you should try with all your heart to love as God has loved you, evidenced by him sending his son to atone for all sin for all time.

This is a very tenuous time, Biblically, and now. And so NOW means that if you have not brought Christ to live in your heart and to bear your sins, you MUST do this now! I cannot stress enough how as more time passes, the role of Jesus becomes more vital to eternal life. More and more people are believing and giving their hearts to Jesus.

What can you do? Live a life of example, and also spread the Good News about our Savior to others. Jesus will certainly  be proud of you.

May God bless you today with his Graces and Mercies,
