IMPORTANT MEDJUGORJE NEWS & OVERVIEW

May 25, 2015 Message to Marija

"Dear children! Also today I am with you and with joy I call all of you: pray and believe in the power of prayer. Open your hearts, little children, so that God may fill you with His love and you will be a joy to others. Your witness will be powerful and everything you do will be interwoven with God's tenderness. I am with you and I pray for you and your conversion until you put God in the first place. Thank you for having responded to my call."

May 2, 2015 Message to Mirjana

"Dear children, open your hearts and try to feel how much I love you and how much I desire for you to love my Son. I desire for you to come to know Him all the better, because it is impossible to know Him and not to love Him - because He is love. I, my children, know you. I know your pain and suffering because I lived through them. I laugh with you in your joy and I cry with you in your pain. I will never leave you. I will always speak to you with motherly tenderness. And I, as a mother, need your open hearts to spread the love of my Son with wisdom and simplicity. I need you to be open and sensitive to the good and mercy. I need you to be united with my Son, because I desire for you to be happy and to help me to bring happiness to all of my children. My apostles, I need you to show everyone the truth of God, so that my heart, which suffered and today suffers so much pain, can win in love. Pray for the holiness of your shepherds, so that in the name of my Son they can work miracles, because holiness works miracles. Thank you."

OVERVIEW

Since 1981, in a small village in Bosnia-Hercegovina named Medjugorje, the Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving messages to the world. She tells us that God has sent Her to our world, and these years She is spending with us are a time of Grace granted by God. In Her own words She tells us,
"I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God".
Our Lady's mission is one of peace. She has come to earth to reeducate us and to help us convert and recenter our lives back to God. Our Lady's role has always been one of guiding people to Her Son, Jesus. What an amazing opportunity we have before us! Our Lady's call to conversion is urgent, and we should respond with all our hearts.

Our Lady continues to give messages to six people from the village of Medjugorje: Ivan, Jakov, Marija, Mirjana, Vicka, and Ivanka. These six people (referred to as "visionaries") have received apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary since June 24, 1981. In addition to Her public messages, Our Lady is to give each of the six visionaries a total of ten "secrets" of happenings that will occur on earth in the near future. Some of the secrets pertain to the whole world while others concern the visionaries themselves or the local village. Only one of the secrets has so far been revealed by the visionaries. In the third secret Our Lady has promised to leave a supernatural, indestructible, and visible sign on the mountain where she first appeared. Our Lady said:
"This sign will be given for the atheists. You faithful already have signs and you have become the sign for the atheists. You faithful must not wait for the sign before you convert; convert soon. This time is a time of grace for you. You can never thank God enough for His grace. The time is for deepening your faith, and for your conversion. When the sign comes, it will be too late for many."

When each of the six visionaries has received all ten "secrets", Our Lady will stop appearing to them on a daily basis. Currently, Marija, Vicka, and Ivan have received nine secrets, and Our Lady still appears to them every day, wherever they are, at 6:40pm. Mirjana, Jakov, and Ivanka have received all ten secrets, and Our Lady appears to them once per year for the rest of their lives. For Ivanka who received her 10th secret on May 7, 1985 it is on the anniversary of the apparitions, June 25 each year. For Jakov who received his 10th secret on September 12, 1998, it is on Christmas day each year. And for Mirjana who received her 10th secret on Christmas 1982, it is on her birthday, March 18 each year. Our Lady has also been appearing to Mirjana on the 2nd of each month since August 2, 1987 for the purpose of praying for all unbelievers. Mirjana tells us that it is very important that all of us pray for the unbelievers in the world, who are described as those who have not yet experienced God's love. No one knows when Our Lady will give the tenth secret to Marija, Ivan, and Vicka.

Once Our Lady has stopped appearing there will be three warnings given to the world. These warnings will be in the form of events on earth. They will occur within Mirjana's lifetime, and Mirjana will be a witness to them. Ten days before each of the warnings, she will advise the priest she chose for this task (Father Petar Ljubicic), who will then pray and fast with Mirjana for seven days. Then, three days before each warning is to take place, Fr. Petar will announce to the world what, where, and when the warning will take place. Fr. Petar has no choice, and must reveal each warning. After the first warning, the other two will follow in a rather short period of time. That interval will be a period of great grace and conversion. After the permanent, visible, supernatural, and indestructible sign appears on the mountain where Our Lady first appeared in Medjugorje, there will be little time for conversion. For that reason, the Blessed Virgin invites us to urgent conversion and reconciliation. The permanent sign will lead to many healings and conversions before the secrets become reality. According to Mirjana, the events predicted by the Blessed Virgin are near. By virtue of this experience, Mirjana proclaims to the world: 'Hurry, be converted; open your hearts to God.'

The ninth and tenth secrets are serious. They concern chastisement for the sins of the world. Punishment is inevitable, for we cannot expect the whole world to be converted. The punishment can be diminished by prayer and penance, but it cannot be eliminated. Mirjana says that one of the evils that threatened the world, the one contained in the seventh secret, has been averted, thanks to prayer and fasting. That is why the Blessed Virgin continues to encourage prayer and fasting:
"You have forgotten that with prayer and fasting you can ward off wars, suspend natural laws."

In addition to this basic message, Mirjana related an apparition she had in 1982, which sheds some light on certain aspects of Church history. She spoke of an apparition in which satan appeared to her, and asked Mirjana to renounce Our Lady and to follow him. By doing so she could be happy in love and in life. He added that following Our Lady would only lead to suffering. Mrjana rejected him, and immediately Our Lady appeared and Satan disappeared. Then Our Lady gave Mirjana the following message:
"Excuse me for this, but you must realize that Satan exists. One day he appeared before the throne of God and asked permission to submit the Church to a period of trial. God gave him permission to try the Church for one century. This century is under the power of the devil; but when the secrets confided to you come to pass, his power will be destroyed. Even now he is beginning to lose his power and has become aggressive. He is destroying marriages, creating divisions among priests and is responsible for obsessions and murder. You must protect yourselves against these things through fasting and prayer, especially community prayer. Carry blessed objects with you. Put them in your house, and restore the use of holy water."

According to certain Catholic experts who have studied these apparitions, this message of Mirjana may shed light on the vision Pope Leo XIII had. According to them, it was after having had an apocalyptic vision of the future of the Church that Leo XIII introduced the prayer to Saint Michael, which priests used to recite after Mass up to the time of the Second Vatican Council. These experts say that the century of trials foreseen by Leo XIII is about to end.

Since the apparitions began in 1981, approximately 40 million people of all faiths, from all over the world, have visited Medjugorje and have left spiritually strengthened and renewed. Many bring back stories of miracles in the form of healings (of mind, body and spirit), supernatural visual signs, and deep conversions back to God. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones, to investigate with an open mind and heart the messages which are given to us by Our Lady of Medjugorje. I invite you to read these messages and decide for yourself how they will affect your life and that of your family.
Our Lady's messages are meant to be assembled like a mosaic. To understand the full meaning and depth of these messages, we need to study all of the messages She has given us over these last 33+ years.
"By means of the messages, I wish to make a very beautiful mosaic in your hearts." (November 25, 1989).
Our Lady has asked that we continually read, study, and meditate on the messages which She has given us. She said:
"Little children, read every day the messages I gave you and transform them into life. I love you and this is why I call you to the way of salvation with God." (December 25, 1989).

The technique of teaching which Our Lady uses, reeducates us to be Christians. She accomplishes this by walking with us, and guiding us step by step, message by message. Today, many people think it is not important to be a Christian. Others want to live a superficial form of Christianity which is easier or more convenient than living a true Christian life. Our Lady wants to show us through Her messages the real face of Christianity. This is a long process because we as a society have strayed far from the truth and God and are slow to learn. This is true both in the Church and outside the Church. We have to accept being totally reeducated, little by little, by the Mother of God. The problem with mankind is not so much that people have bad intentions; there are plenty of good hearted people. The problem is that we sometimes don't see the truth; we are in darkness, and many of us are just blind. We do not realize that we have put ourselves into the hands of satan because we do not know how to tell the difference between right and wrong. Many of us become an image of satan without even knowing it.

I don't think that anyone could argue, regardless of religious orientation, that today's world is in a state of crisis. All one has to do is read the newspaper or watch television to be see how eroded the morals of our world have become. It is shocking to see and hear the examples of terrorism, inhumanity, cruelty, violence, abuse, drugs, war, crime, etc., etc. Much of the world has strayed far from a life centered around God and family. The answers which we need to redirect our life can be found by reading and living Our Lady's messages and Scripture.

"You are ready to commit sin, and to put yourselves in the hands of satan without reflecting." (May 25, 1987)

"Do not allow satan to gain control of your hearts, so you would be an image of satan and not of me." (January 30, 1986)

"Children, darkness reigns over the whole world. People are attracted by many things and they forget about the more important."

"Light won't reign in the world until people accept Jesus, until they live His words, which is the Word of the Gospel."

"Dear children, this is the reason for my presence among you for such a long time: to lead you on the path of Jesus. I want to save you and, through you, to save the whole world. Many people now live without faith; some don't even want to hear about Jesus, but they still want peace and satisfaction! Children, here is the reason why I need your prayer: prayer is the only way to save the human race." (July 30, 1987)

We must realize that Satan is real. He uses us for his own end and purposes. His main purpose is destruction. Destruction of love, peace, faith, family, and life. Just as God gave David 5 stones with which to defeat Goliath, Our Lady is also giving us 5 Stones or Weapons we can use to defeat satan. They are:
  • Daily Prayer (Of the Rosary)
  • Fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Daily Reading of the Bible
  • Monthly Confession
  • Holy Mass
Click Here, for a detailed look at these 5 Stones or Weapons to conquer satan.

VERY GOOD "THIS DAY'S..."

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
I’d rather be able to pray than to be a great preacher;
Jesus Christ never taught his disciples how to preach,
but only how to pray.
Dwight L. Moody

This Day's Verse
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves;
but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all
by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.
Hebrews 9:12
The New International Version

This Day's Smile
To covet nothing that is your neighbors except his kindness of heart and gentleness of manners, to think seldom of your enemies, often of your friends, and everyday of Christ, and to spend as much time as you can, with body and with spirit, in God’s out of doors, these are little guideposts on the footpath to peace.

POTATO CHIPS

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him some chips He gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

His smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"
He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? He's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home.
His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked, "Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

Have lunch with God.......bring chips.

God still sits on the throne. You may be going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith!

NEED YOUR PRAYERS

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

We came to South Georgia to visit my husband's 86 year old mother who broke her leg in two places about two weeks ago.  Naturally, we are concerned and she is having a difficult time with a cast from her toes to her thigh. She's a pretty determined lady and I know she will work hard to recover.

Yesterday morning my husband's brother arrived early to pick him up and go to the facility where Mother is staying for therapy.  But they asked me to open the garage and they came in to look for a pad for Mother's wheelchair.  My brother-in-law went into the attic above the garage via the pull-down stairs leading to the attic. A portion of the attic has plywood flooring, but most is not covered except by sheet rock. My brother-in-law missed the plywood and fell through the ceiling head first onto the concrete flooring right before our eyes!

We were stunned for a moment as we thought he might be dead. Then he began moaning and my husband got on the ground, leaned up against the car and held his brother between his legs, arms wrapped around him as I called 911 and then his wife where they live the next street over.

Paramedics arrived within 3 minutes, managed the painful and difficult task of getting Latham on the backboard with a C-collar. His left shoulder was obviously dislocated. My concerned was the image in my mind of his head hitting the floor, possibly breaking his neck.

My husband and Latham's wife followed the ambulance in his truck and I followed in my SUV. I turned on my emergency flashing lights and we were blowing every light in our path. On the interstate I was running 90mph and still unable to keep up with the ambulance. Kinda scared me when I looked down and saw how fast I was traveling.

Latham was taken into the trauma unit on the hospital in Macon and their large trauma team descended on him like Angels from heaven.

Skipping forward, Latham's injuries are: laceration of the head; concussion; small fracture at the base of the skull; fractures of left shoulder, elbow and one toe; fractures of 2 fingers on the right hand, and a broken sternum.  He will be in the C-collar for 3 months, which doesn't make him happy, but he should heal normally given time.

Witnessing this horrific event was shocking and difficult to get out of my mind. I'm concerned about my husband because he thought he'd lost the only brother he has left. His middle brother was killed by a drunk driver in Phoenix in 2006 where he was working on a film. It was supposed to be his last day of work on that film.  The look in my husband's eyes is something I've never seen and pray I never have to witness again.   The man I love, my partner for life was afraid beyond my comprehension.

Mother took it kind of hard and didn't sleep well last night, but by God's Graces, she and Latham will both be healed by the hands of Jesus! Praise his Holy Name!

These unfortunate events, along with the death of one of their uncle l in the span of 3 weeks has been three trials in as many weeks. My resolve in my faith is stronger than ever, and with all humility, I pray for God'st Graces, Jesus' healing power and our Blessed Mother's prayers and a source of strength.

My friends, I know that I only need ask and you  be there for our family. Please pray for us as we navigate through this rough terrain and are back on the clean, soft earth where our Lord made a path for our salvation.  Pray for us as I am praying for you!  God bless each of you+++

Lovingly,

THIS DAY'S ...

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
Certain thoughts are prayers.  There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.
Victor Hugo

This Day's Verse
For the Lord grants wisdom!  His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.  He grants good sense to the godly- his saints.  He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway.  He shows how to distinguish right from wrong, how to find the right decision every time.  For wisdom and truth will enter the very center of your being, filling your life with joy.
Proverbs 2:6-10
The Living Bible

This Day's Smile
How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it.

PRAYER TO VIRGIN MARY

Prayer for the Immaculate Queen of Peace
Most holy and immaculate Virgin, Mother of Jesus and our loving Mother, being his Mother, you shared in his universal kingship. The prophets and angels proclaimed him King of peace. With loving fervor in our hearts we salute and honor you as Queen of peace.

We pray that your intercession may protect us and all people from hated and discord, and direct our hearts into the ways of peace and justice which your Son taught and exemplified. We ask your maternal care for our Holy Father who works to reconcile the nations in peace. We seek your guidance for our President and other leaders as they strive for world peace.

Glorious Queen of peace, grant us peace in our hearts, harmony in our families and concord throughout the world. Immaculate Mother, as patroness of our beloved country, watch over us and protect us with your motherly love. Amen.

THIS DAY'S ....

A quick note to let you know I'll be offline for Memorial Day weekend. We are traveling to check on my mother-in-law, who most of you know broke her leg in two places two weeks ago and she is 96 years old. Hubby wants to check on her and I don't blame him, even though his brother lives there, too, he and his wife both work.  So everyone have a safe, happy, fun and blessed Memorial Day.

Love,
Abbey

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
Unless we form the habit of going to the Bible in bright moments as well as in trouble, we cannot fully respond to its consolations, because we lack equilibrium between light and darkness.
Helen Keller

This Day's Verse
I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand.  If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed.  Our Lord, come!  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.  My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.  Amen.
1 Corinthians 16:21-24

THIS DAY'S....

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
In the ultimate sense, your marriage has nothing to do with your spouse.  It has everything to do with your relationship to Jesus Christ.
Emerson Eggerichs

This Day's Verse
“And now, O sons, listen to me: blessed are those who keep my ways.  Hear instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it.  Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors.  For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD, but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.”
Proverbs 8:32-36
The English Standard Version

DO YOU TAKE DEATH FOR GRANTED?

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

~*~

Death. A very difficult subject to discuss, but something led me to this subject. That is, the young woman across the street had been battling cancer for a while, but kept IT so quiet that I didn't know until recently. I noticed that a car or two would be there every day and thought I should go and give her any inspiration that I could muster.  Her name is Wendy M., buy the way.  She looked so fragile and thin and her hair was beginning to grow back so not wanting to ask questions or say the wrong thing, I assumed she was getting better. But as I talked with her, she didn't respond much but had this tremendous sadness in her eyes. Perhaps the doctors decided they could do nothing more for her and she knew it would not be long, I don't know. I couldn't help but notice the very large bruise in the crease of her tiny arm and thought to myself how difficult this road was that she was traveling.

Eternal Rest, grant unto her, O Lord,
and let your perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of
all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

Wendy has two little girls and a husband. The little girls whose names escape me, were such a delight when I first met them.  They were well-mannered and Wendy was as bright at the sun shining down that day.  It was just before Easter a year ago.

I wasn't gawking, but rather, my stomach was in my throat and my heart was aching for what they were going to through,  Once the funeral home removed Wendy's tender body, everyone left and I though "you're leaving him alone?"  But no, he left and came back with his precious children and I saw their bedroom light on and I knew what was going on and the tears, the relentless tears that were being shed. I know her husband approached the in the Biblical sense being a Godly man, easing their minds with things like Jesus rose and went to heaven, and that is where your mommy is.
Nevertheless, I prayed for that poor man and his little angels.

Death is something the young will take for granted. They don't even think about it. This is the poor voice of experience. When you are in your 20's an 30's perhaps, you are raising a family but you still feel so young and you are so vibrant (most of you) that you have not a thought that God would come for you at any time

Yest, death is one more thing that we all take for granted, unless we are close to someone who has a terminal illness; but, even then, you are praying for them to get better knowing full well that their time has come. They you pray for them to let go and give them permission to leave. That is crucial. The dying don't want to leave their loved ones. They need permission to go, knowing you will all be okay and will see her in heaven later.

I have been blessed to be at the side of three people at the time of their deaths.  All resisted and were perhaps even in a coma, but your hearing is the last thing to go, so I whispered some personal thoughts of good-bye, things in the ears of each one which that will remain in my heart only.  It was not so difficult for me, surprisingly. I chose to sit by them, take their arm into my hands and just gently rub and sooth them.  I sang hymns and offered their lives to God.  AND, I gave each of them permission to die, to let go and to die into rebirth in eternal life.

When our Uncle Milton died this week, he looked like he had a smile on his face. It was so comforting.  He was 86 years old and he longed for his sweet wife, Virginia.

Some may go instantly, others may suffer trials that last for months or years before they are given up to God.

Do not take death for granted. Do not walk away from that freshly dug grave where you have buried someone and forget them, no, never forget them.  As careful as you may be, like driving, it's the other guy on he road that should make you wary. You might have a vehicle accident, be in the wrong place at the wrong time and be killed, and your pain lasts for a millisecond when you cross over to see Jesus there to greet you.  All earthly things forgotten, only pure bliss and adoration for the Son of God and God, himself.

If it were me, I can imagine picking some of heavens flowers where I could take a simple, but beautiful bouquet to Almighty God when I meet Him.

For all of you who have lost loved ones, visiting their resting place is for you, because they are not there; they are in heaven. I often sit on my grandmother's grave and talk to her, even though she is not there, perhaps she can hear me, memories of long ago flooding through my brain.

When Uncle Milton died, I could not cry, but had to maintain that solemn nature for such an occasion, but in my mind's eye, I new he was gone and he was HAPPY.  I wanted so badly to celebrate life and not mourn too much and he would have understood because he was the most jovial prankster I've ever met. He loved everyone!

We will all be called to the foot of the cross sooner or later, so please be prepared. It could happen in unexpectedly at any moment.  If your heart is right with God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, you need not be afraid, for we have been told,

Psalms 91:5
King James Version.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

I welcome death whenever it comes.  And yes, I have asked the Lord to allow me to live long enough to see my grand children raised and on their way in their lives.  That's all I want. And then, I will welcome death as God's will, pray to Mama that is be easy, praise the Savior and God for all they have done for me.

Hail Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, To thee do we send up our sighs, Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen.

Lovingly in Jesus Christ, our Savor, out Almighty God, and our precious Mother Mary,

SPIRITUAL GEMS

The Holy Spirit is Ignored Now But He Will  Reign in the World

"Faith is extinguished through the absence of the Holy Spirit.  In each heart and in the whole church, there is not rendered to the Holy Spirit that which is due to Him.  Most of the evils that are deplored in the church and in souls come from not giving the Holy Spirit His primacy......The decisive impulse for raising up My church from the state of prostration in which she lies, consists in reviving the cult of (devotion to) the Holy Spirit...May the whole world have recourse to the Holy Spirit since the day of His reign has arrived...He will come.  I will send Him again clearly manifest in His effects, which will astonish the world and impel the Church to holiness."

~Our Lord to Venerable Concepcion Cabrera de Armida.

"OCEANS"

Our hearts feel empty sometimes. We grow weary from the pitfalls that satan throws in our path everyday.  We know that we need something to happen to change the course of our lives because what we are doing is just not working. There is too much sadness and pain in our hearts. But, there is JOY, PROTECTION, PEACE, BLESSINGS & UNCONDITIONAL LOVE WAITING FOR EACH OF US!  In these times, we sometimes forget that there is that special place that will save us from ourselves. It is going to God, anywhere, anytime, and simply asking Him to please take over your life and help you.  You don't have to be on your knees, you may be at work, walking down a street, or perhaps driving (the 30 minutes it took for me to drive to work was my prayer time).

Turn off the radio, tune out the sounds of cars, people, machinery, all, and go to Him. He is waiting just for you. And it makes God's heart very glad when one of His children realizes they need salvation.  It is there for the taking. If satan is throwing pitfalls in your life, deny him in the name of Jesus Christ, banish him from your life.  Give your whole heart and soul to God and the Prince of Peace and life a life of Peace knowing that you have a "GO TO" that will calm all and bring answers and mighty works to change your sadness and emptiness.  Suddenly you are full, full of The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's job is to be YOUR GUIDE. Listen to your heart; listen for The Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide your steps, one by one; listen for God; He will speak to you in ways that will lift you so high that you'll be so amazed that you will never leave Him again!

The Prince of Peace gave his own life for your salvation. Do not deny him the opportunity to live in your heart forever, for he will calm the storms.  And you'll be saying "I am yours, and you are mine." Listen ......

DO I TAKE GOD FOR GRANTED?

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
The great gift of God in prayer is Himself.
Maxie Dunnam

This Day's Verse
Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:  “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.”
Isaiah 44:6
The English Standard Version

~*~

Ask yourself this question: DO I TAKE GOD FOR GRANTED? Now think about it for a moment.

Day after day, a great many people are constantly calling on God for THEIR needs and wants. Your prayers do make God very happy, but do you ever think what God might be going through. He has disappointment in a great many. They do not exercise their prayerfulness on a daily basis; they may not even pray except when something goes bad or they want something for themselves, and so they ask God "please give me [this]".

Second questions:  Is there THANKSGIVING in your prayers to God.  If He has been made happy in hearing your prayers, don't you think you should praise him, thank Him for all he is; for His divine love, protection, comfort, and seeing to your REAL needs according to His Will?

That's a very common thought that is forgotten - it is God's Will, not yours. God does not think like humans and it is impossible to know HOW God thinks.  Therefore, we live on faith and trust in Him to choose the right thing for us.  Have you ever heard of "Six Degrees of Separation"? From Wikipedia:
"Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy in 1929 and popularized by a 1990 play written by John ."

Karinthy went on with his theories and basically, the world has grown smaller by the use of something called "technology".  We are closer and closer as a world community. Something you may say or do is passed to one, then two, and keeps growing.  This is the basis of my Apostleship. If I can hit one person with the World of God and cause them to change the course of their lives, then that, I believe, begins a chain reaction.  Who knows where my words go.  But my Statcounter reveals visits to my blog from the Bahamas, Kenya, Mexico, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Croatia, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, and a host of many other foreign countries. Could it be the Six Degrees of Separation, or simply a search via computer, etc., for a certain inspiration and my blog pops up?

I have no idea, but I am so, so grateful to God that the word is spreading all over the world. This is God's will for me as an Apostle for Jesus Christ.

He is the first and the last, and besides Him, there is NO OTHER GOD!

He deserves your undying and unconditional love; he deserves to hear your gratefulness and reassurance that you BELIEVE in His Will and that you will await His answer to your prayers with patience and faith.

Please don't forget that God has a very big job, and although there are millions and millions of people worshiping Him, somehow he has the ability to remember each child and to make the right path for them to follow.  He is Amazing Grace.

END TIMES

Luke 21:5-36

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another;every one of them will be thrown down.”
“Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.
20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Mancoming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with ..... the anxieties of life."  I have been suffering the anxieties of life for several years now, within and without my family and friends.  But I have not wavered one iota in my Trust in Jesus' words and my faith in God.  It has felt like hell on earth at times and I pray to my God "when will this be resolved?"  For I gave all to him a long time ago and if one has TRUE FAITH, one knows that once given to God for His Will, one must let go of that problem or anxiety.

I found in the beginning of trying to give my worries to God and forget them that is was easier said than done!. For a long time I was agitated at myself because I found that I could not forget these things.  If one has not given and forgotten, then exercising one's faith day by day, one will become stronger and stronger. If you believe in the words of Jesus and The Bible, then you must follow these instructions to the letter.

Yes, there are already great earthquakes like the two horrendous ones in Nepal and the surrounding communities. Many lives have been lost, but they now live in eternity.  Famine and thirst are rampant.  The need for water is a top priority.  People are thirsty and watch their babes slowly grow more thin every day, flies all over them, and there is nothing they are capable of doing themselves Thank God for the humanitarian efforts that are be extended to these helpless people.

We have wars all over the earth, but Jesus says that this does not mean the time is near, but that these things must happen first, but does not necessarily mean the time is near.. "If God is with me, who can be against?"  God WILL take care of his own, but it does not mean that you will not face some difficult times beforehand.  Stay strong in your faith, pray to Him every day to save you from peril. Live under the feathers of His mighty wings! Who can be afraid if they know they are under the protection of God Almighty?

BEWARE of those who come and claim that they are the Son of God! For we know from The Bible that the Son of Man will come down on a great cloud from heaven for the whole earth to see. THAT is HIM!

Do not live in fear! Fear is one of those anxieties that you must cut from your thoughts, else they will ruin you and cause your faith to falter.  When you are persecuted, do not fear, the Lord is with you! He will put His words into your mouth and you will speak and declare your devotion for God Almighty!

Rejoice and be glad! Praise our Savior, Jesus Christ, for his ultimate sacrifice so that you have the opportunity to live in a place that is inconceivably beautiful and glorious, the Home of God! Oh what a day that will be! Should harm face you, should death face you, go happily to your Savior, for He is there at the beautiful gates to escort you to meet His Father.  The sting of death lasts a second. The life with your loved ones passed, with Jesus your Savior and with our most Loving God, and with the Mother of Jesus and all the Saints awaits you. Do not fear. You are headed for the best place ever and it will be a place of beauty, no pain, no worries, no anxieties.  Earth will be forgotten and only joyfulness will replace that memory.

Pray for yourself and for your loved ones that God will shelter them under his Mighty Wings. Pray for forgiveness of sin, be ready for Him, for no one knows the day or hour that Jesus will come, not even Jesus, himself.

I BELIEVE .... which is the definition of AMEN!

May God bless you and keep you, love you and protect you.

Lovingly in Christ, the Son of Man,

WHERE IS ABBEY?

My dear, dear friends in Jesus Christ,

When it rains it pours!

A week ago today, my husband's mother fell and broke her tibia right below the knee and the ankle had a circular fracture.  She is an independent 86 year old lady.  Surgery was performed, but well, she doesn't have good bones and this was the only extremity that she had not broken. We joked that she is not the Bionic Woman! We were there until last evening.  Once she came out of the anesthesia, she was barking orders just like her old self.  I know that this is a very difficult recovery for her.  She cannot bend her knee until they put a cast on just below the knee.  She will be transferred to a very nice facility in Macon that is brand new and she will have a beautiful room and three meals a day where she will have to share a table with others.  I pray that she will make some friends.

I learned this morning that my husband's favorite uncle, Milton, passed early this morning at 1:00am. I had hoped that I would get home in time to see him, but God had other plans.  It is with great sadness that I pray for the repose of Uncle Milton's soul. He was a jovial, fun individual and he loved my husband like the dickens.  The viewing is Wednesday evening with funeral on Thursday.

I decided to go and get my nails, which were in awful shape, done and my daughter texted me that she was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital with her dad.  We think he has suffered a stroke, so she is waiting and I am waiting to hear what the doctors have to say.

I am contemplating God's intentions in putting all of this on my shoulders. I think of St. Therese and how she begged for more weight on her because she wanted to work as hard as she could for Jesus. She wanted nothing more than to be with Jesus.

So, Jesus, I thank you for this weight on my shoulders, and if you should feel I can bear more, please give it to me and I will thank your goodness wholeheartedly.

I ask for your loving prayers, your prayers out of your friendship and/or love for me for all involved in the above.  If anymore emergencies happen, you will be the first to know.

I love you all like my little children, and I ask you to reflect Jesus to everyone you meet on the street or elsewhere.  Example: This girl was trying to move into my land and I honked and sped forward past her today. She flipped me the International Sign of Disgust.  I rolled down my window and gave her the sign of love and then a peace sign. Maybe it shamed her or not, I don't know, but that's what you do when you're a disciple for Christ.

Lovingly in His Holy Name, Jesus Christ, our Savior,
Abbey

THIS DAY'S .....

This Day's Thought from The Ranch
Among the voices that found their way into the carpentry shop in Nazareth was your voice.  Your silent prayers uttered on tearstained pillows were heard before they were said.  Your deepest questions about death and eternity were answered before they were asked.  And your direst need for a Savior, was met before you ever sinned.
Max Lucado

This Day's Verse
Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.
Psalm 80:3
The New International Version

This Day's Smile
To forsake Christ for the world, is to leave a treasure for a trifle…eternity for a moment, reality for a shadow.
William Jenkyn
