Dearest Faithful Friends,
With today's prayers, I wanted to say that if you are not praying this Novena every day, you are missing out on the opportunity to give your petitions to our Mother, Mary, so that she can talk with her Son, Jesus Christ, about them. I don't know why, but I am extremely moved when I pray to Mother. Tears well in my eyes and I gaze upon the beautiful statue and a lit candle as I pray. Mother is as powerful as any mother when it comes to her child. We're half-way through the Novena, and today is the beginning of Advent and a new year for The Church. Please include in your prayers the victims of the San Bernardino, those who are far away fighting to keep us safe, for our leaders, that they may come together and make WISE choices for we are helpless except for writing our State Representatives and Congressmen/women, and most of all, pray that the birthday of Jesus is filled with love, peace, joy and thanksgiving.
With all my Christian Love,
Peace be with you!
Today, let's pray for all of those suffering from financial hardship. Let's pray for resolutions to these difficult situations.
Let's also pray that while things are hard and money is tight for individuals and families, that this hardship brings them together rather than tearing them apart. Let's pray that if it must last, that it brings them closer to God.
Here are the prayers for today:
