Luke 1:46-55King James Version

46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

How beautiful, Mary's Song! I had to read it several times because it says so much, not just about Mary, but how each of us should praise our Loving God. Handmaiden or mere man, I want for you to feel the great rejoice in your spirit that lies in your relationship with God, your Savior.

Of course, nobody, but for Mary, would ever be called blessed for all time. She is the mother of Jesus, the Son of God. She realizes that he has done great things to her, the highest of all, the Immaculate Conception and ultimate birth of God's child.

In short, Mary's Song reminds us of the ultimate will of God. That He will always be in charge and put people and things in their proper places. No matter wealth or pauper, mighty or weak, God will always have His Will over all peoples of the earth.

Give Him trust, faith, abiding love, reverence, and patience, as all prayers are answered according to His Will.

O God, bless our Heavenly Mother! Naturally, You made the PERFECT CHOICE!

Lovingly in Jesus,
