The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang.
But, the man did not hear.
So the man yelled, "God, speak to me" and the thunder rolled across the sky.
But, the man did not listen.
The man looked around and said, "God let me see you." And a star shined brightly.
But the man did not see.
And, the man shouted, "God show me a miracle." And, a life was born.

But, the man did not notice.
So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know you are here."
Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man. But, the man brushed the butterfly away .
and walked on.
I found this to be a great reminder that God is always around us in the little and simple things that we take for granted ... even in our electronic age..
So I would like to add one more:The man cried, "God, I need your help!" And an e-mail arrived reaching out with good news and encouragement. But, the man deleted it and continued crying .Don't miss out on a blessing because it isn't packaged the way that you expect.

I am sending this to the people I want God to bless so I picked you. Won't you please pass this to people you want to be blessed too?

Have A Beautiful Day!

I get a little discouraged sometimes. I look at my stats and I also look at the posts - some of which nobody reads. Life is busy .... easy to do a quick read and move on. I understand.  I think I know what isn't working, and I am grappling as to what I should try next. I want to make an impact on the world ... perhaps I should just give up blogging .... I'm sure my sister who laughs at me behind my back would agree.  She has negatively analyzed and dissected my blog and other writings for years and I'm sure it would be disappointing if I stopped and she no longer had this avenue to get some laughs on me. Should I disappear, thanks to those of you who come regularly, I know who you are from observing the site meter, people who are "regulars".  You have my deepest gratitude!

Most likely, I'll take a dive and I'll come up for air eventually.  On that, you can depend.

On another note, I am honored to have been invited by Joan Wester Anderson to read and review her
new/revamped book, "An Angel to Watch Over Me: True Stories of Children's Encounters with Angels".  I received my copy yesterday and will write my review here when I have finished reading it.

Sincerely with the Grace of God,

Sometimes I wonder.....
If the universe is expanding, why can't I find a parking space?
A distraught senior citizen
Phoned her doctor's office.
'Is it true,' she wanted to know,
'that the medication
You prescribed has to be taken
For the rest of my life?'
'Yes, I'm afraid so,' the doctor told her.
There was a moment of silence
Before the senior lady replied,
I'm wondering, then,
Just how serious is my condition
Because this prescription is marked

An older gentleman was
On the operating table
Awaiting surgery
And he insisted that his son,
A renowned surgeon,
Perform the operation.
As he was about to get the anesthesia,
He asked to speak to his son
'Yes, Dad, what is it? '
'Don't be nervous, son;
Do your best
And just remember,
If it doesn't go well,
If something happens to me,
Your mother
Is going to come and
Live with you and your wife....'

Eventually you will reach a point
When you stop lying about your age
And start bragging about it. This is so true. I love
To hear them say "you don't look that old."
The older we get,
The fewer things               <---- I "really" agree with this one!
Seem worth waiting in line for.
Some people
Try to turn back their odometers.
Not me!
I want people to know 'why'
I look this way.
I've traveled a long way
And some of the roads weren't paved.

When you are dissatisfied
And would like to go back to youth,
Think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when
Everything either dries up or leaks.

One of the many things
No one tells you about aging
Is that it is such a nice change
From being young.

Ah, being young is beautiful,
But being old is comfortable.

First you forget names,
Then you forget faces.
Then you forget to pull up your zipper.
It's worse when
You forget to pull it down.

Two guys one old one young
Are pushing their carts around Wal-Mart

When they collide. The old guy says to the young guy,
'Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife,
And I guess I wasn't paying attention
To where I was going.
The young guy says, 'That's OK, it's a coincidence.
I'm looking for my wife, too...'
I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate
The old guy says, 'Well,
Maybe I can help you find her..
What does she look like?'
' The young guy says,
'Well, she is 27 yrs old, tall,
With red hair,
Blue eyes, is buxom wearing no bra,
Long legs,
And is wearing short shorts.
What does your wife look like?'
To which the first old guy says, 'Doesn't matter,
--- let's look for yours.'

(And this final one especially for me,)
Keep Your arm around my shoulder,
And, Your hand over my mouth!  -------Excellent!

This happens to be my most favorite song by the group, Kansas.  It's an oldie, but it speaks to those who are going through troubles in life and they feel like giving up.  To me, it is saying "hold on, Jesus is just outside the door, waiting for you to call on him for his guidance, love and help."  Live in Love and Light!

Since 1981, in a small village in Bosnia-Hercegovina named Medjugorje, the Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving messages to the world. She tells us that God has sent Her to our world, and these years she is spending with us are a time of Grace granted by God. In Her own words She tells us, "I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God".

Our Lady's mission is one of peace and love. She has come to earth to reeducate us and to help us convert and recenter our lives back to God. Our Lady's role has always been one of guiding people to Her Son, Jesus. What an amazing opportunity we have before us! Our Lady's call to conversion is urgent, and we should respond with all our hearts.

Our Lady continues to give messages to six people from the village of Medjugorje: Ivan, Jakov, Marija, Mirjana, Vicka, and Ivanka. These six people (referred to as "visionaries") have received apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary since June 24, 1981. In addition to Her public messages, Our Lady is to give each of the six visionaries a total of ten "secrets" or happenings that will occur on earth in the near future. Some of the secrets pertain to the whole world while others concern the visionaries themselves or the local village. Only one of the secrets has so far been revealed by the visionaries. In the third secret Our Lady has promised to leave a supernatural, indestructible, and visible sign on the mountain where she first appeared. Our Lady said: "This sign will be given for the atheists. You faithful already have signs and you have become the sign for the atheists. You faithful must not wait for the sign before you convert; convert soon. This time is a time of grace for you. You can never thank God enough for His grace. The time is for deepening your faith, and for your conversion. When the sign comes, it will be too late for many."

When each of the six visionaries has received all ten "secrets", Our Lady will stop appearing to them on a daily basis. Currently, Marija, Vicka, and Ivan have received nine secrets, and Our Lady still appears to them every day, wherever they are, at 5:40pm during daylight savings time, and 6:40pm the rest of the year. Mirjana, Jakov, and Ivanka have received all ten secrets, and Our Lady appears to them once per year, and will do so for the rest of their lives. For Ivanka who received her 10th secret on May 7, 1985 it is on the anniversary of the apparitions, June 25 each year. For Jakov who received his 10th secret on September 12, 1998, it is on Christmas day each year. And for Mirjana who received her 10th secret on Christmas 1982, it is on her birthday, March 18 each year. Our Lady has also been appearing to Mirjana on the 2nd of each month since August 2, 1987 for the purpose of praying for all unbelievers. Mirjana tells us that it is very important that all of us pray for the unbelievers in the world, who are described as those who have not yet experienced God's love. Sometimes these appearances on the 2nd of each month are apparitions, and sometimes locutions. No one knows when Our Lady will give the tenth secret to Marija, Ivan, and Vicka.

Once Our Lady has stopped appearing there will be three warnings given to the world. These warnings will be in the form of events on earth. They will occur within Mirjana's lifetime, and Mirjana will be a witness to them. Ten days before each of the warnings, she will advise the priest she chose for this task (Father Petar Ljubicic), who will then pray and fast with Mirjana for seven days. Then, three days before each warning is to take place, Fr. Petar will announce to the world what, where, and when the warning will take place. Fr. Petar has no choice, and must reveal each warning. After the first warning, the other two will follow in a rather short period of time. That interval will be a period of grace and conversion. After the permanent, visible, supernatural, and indestructible sign appears on the mountain where Our Lady first appeared in Medjugorje there will be little time for conversion. For that reason, the Blessed Virgin invites us to urgent conversion and reconciliation. The permanent sign will lead to many healings and conversions before the secrets become reality. According to Mirjana, the events predicted by the Blessed Virgin are near. By virtue of this experience, Mirjana proclaims to the world: 'Hurry, be converted; open your hearts to God.'

The ninth and tenth secrets are serious. They concern chastisement for the sins of the world. Punishment is inevitable, for we cannot expect the whole world to be converted. The punishment can be diminished by prayer and penance, but it cannot be eliminated. Mirjana says that one of the evils that threatened the world, the one contained in the seventh secret, has been averted, thanks to prayer and fasting. That is why the Blessed Virgin continues to encourage prayer and fasting: "You have forgotten that with prayer and fasting you can ward off wars, suspend natural laws."

In addition to this basic message, Mirjana related an apparition she had in 1982, which sheds some light on certain aspects of Church history. She spoke of an apparition in which satan appeared to her, and asked Mirjana to renounce Our Lady and to follow him. By doing so she could be happy in love and in life. He added that following Our Lady would only lead to suffering. Mrjana rejected him, and immediately Our Lady appeared and Satan disappeared. Then Our Lady gave Mirjana the following message in substance:

"Excuse me for this, but you must realize that Satan exists. One day he appeared before the throne of God and asked permission to submit the Church to a period of trial. God gave him permission to try the Church for one century. This century is under the power of the devil; but when the secrets confided to you come to pass, his power will be destroyed. Even now he is beginning to lose his power and has become aggressive. He is destroying marriages, creating divisions among priests and is responsible for obsessions and murder. You must protect yourselves against these things through fasting and prayer, especially community prayer. Carry blessed objects with you. Put them in your house, and restore the use of holy water."

According to certain Catholic experts who have studied these apparitions, this message of Mirjana may shed light on the vision Pope Leo XIII had. According to them, it was after having had an apocalyptic vision of the future of the Church that Leo XIII introduced the prayer to Saint Michael which priests used to recite after Mass up to the time of the Second Vatican Council. These experts say that the century of trials foreseen by Leo XIII is about to end.

Since the apparitions began in 1981, approximately 40 million people of all faiths, from all over the world, have visited Medjugorje and have left spiritually strengthened and renewed. Many bring back stories of miracles in the form of healings (of mind, body and spirit), supernatural visual signs, and deep conversions back to God. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones, to investigate with an open mind and heart the messages which are given to us by Our Lady of Medjugorje. I invite you to read these messages and decide for yourself how they will affect your life and that of your family.

Our Lady's messages are meant to be assembled like a mosaic. To understand the full meaning and depth of these messages, we need to study all of the messages She has given us over these almost 30 years. "By means of the messages, I wish to make a very beautiful mosaic in your hearts." (November 25, 1989). Our Lady has asked that we continually read, study, and meditate on the messages which she has given us. She said: "Little children, read every day the messages I gave you and transform them into life. I love you and this is why I call you to the way of salvation with God." (December 25, 1989).

The technique of teaching which Our Lady uses, reeducates us to be Christians. She accomplishes this by walking with us, and guiding us step by step, message by message. Today, many people think it is not important to be a Christian. Others want to live a superficial form of Christianity which is easier or more convenient than living a true Christian life. Our Lady wants to show us through Her messages the real face of Christianity. This is a long process because we as a society have strayed far from the truth and God and are slow to learn. This is true both in the Church and outside the Church. We have to accept being totally reeducated, little by little, by the Mother of God. The problem with mankind is not so much that people have bad intentions; there are plenty of good hearted people. The problem is that we sometimes don't see the truth; we are in darkness, and many of us are just blind. We do not realize that we have put ourselves into the hands of satan because we do not know how to tell the difference between right and wrong. Many of us become an image of satan without even knowing it.

I don't think that anyone could argue, regardless of religious orientation, that today's world is in a state of crisis. All one has to do is read the newspaper or watch television to be see how eroded the morals of our world have become. It is shocking to see and hear the examples of inhumanity, cruelty, violence, abuse, drugs, war, crime, etc., etc. Much of the world has strayed far from a life centered around God and family. The answers which we need to redirect our life can be found by reading and living Our Lady's messages and the Scriptures.

"You are ready to commit sin, and to put yourselves in the hands of satan without reflecting." (May 25, 1987)

"Do not allow satan to gain control of your hearts, so you would be an image of satan and not of me." (January 30, 1986)

"Children, darkness reigns over the whole world. People are attracted by many things and they forget about the more important."

"Light won't reign in the world until people accept Jesus, until they live His words, which is the Word of the Gospel."

"Dear children, this is the reason for my presence among you for such a long time: to lead you on the path of Jesus. I want to save you and, through you, to save the whole world. Many people now live without faith; some don't even want to hear about Jesus, but they still want peace and satisfaction! Children, here is the reason why I need your prayer: prayer is the only way to save the human race." (July 30, 1987)

We must realize that Satan is real. He uses us for his own end and purposes. His main purpose is destruction. Destruction of love, peace, faith, family, and life. Just as God gave David 5 stones with which to defeat Goliath, Our Lady is also giving us 5 Stones or Weapons we can use to defeat satan. They are:

  • Daily Prayer (Of the Rosary)
  • Fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Daily Reading of the Bible
  • Monthly Confession
  • Holy Communion
Click Here, for a detailed look at these 5 Stones or Weapons to conquer satan.

We must realize that Our Lady's plan is for the entire planet, that this war is a war of love against destruction, and that Our Lady's goal in this struggle is the reign of love, and the return of souls to God.

Our Lady tells us that our personal role is "Great". We cannot do enough to live the messages. We must be willing to abandon ourselves completely. When put in proper perspective, our homes, our money, and our businesses are not nearly as important as gaining eternal life in Heaven after this life.

Matthew 16:25-27 "Whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. What profit would a man show if he were to gain the whole world and destroy himself in the process? What can a man offer in exchange for his very self?"

After reading "Our Lady of Kibeho", and heeding Our Lady's messages with much more depth andseriousness. She is speaking to the whole world, but I feel she is speaking directly to me. I want to please Our Mother and do as she asks; do you?

About Marija:

Born April 1, 1965, Marija is now married with children and living in Italy. She frequently talks about and visits Medjugorje. She is the visiionary who received the message from Our Lady on the 25th of each month. Marija has received 9 of the 10 secrets which have been called warning signs and chastisements to the world, given by the Virgin Mary.

March 25, 2012 Message to Marija

Today, Our Lady appeared to the visionary Marija and delivered the following message:

"Dear children! Also today, with joy, I desire to give you my motherly blessing and to call you to prayer. May prayer become a need for you to grow more in holiness every day. Work more on your conversion because you are far away, little children. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Annual Apparition to Mirjana - March 18, 2012

The visionary Mirjana Dragicevic Soldo turned 47 years old today, March 18, 2012. Our Lady appears to her on March 18 every year. Thousands of pilgrims gathered at the Blue Cross today at 2:00 pm to be present while Our Lady appeared to Mirjana. The apparition lasted five minutes, and Our Lady gave the following message:
"Dear children! I am coming among you because I desire to be your mother – your intercessor. I desire to be the bond between you and the Heavenly Father – your mediatrix. I desire to take you by the hand and to walk with you in the battle against the impure spirit. My children, consecrate yourselves to me completely. I will take your lives into my motherly hands and I will teach them peace and love, and then I will give them over to my Son. I am asking of you to pray and fast because only in this way will you know how to witness my Son in the right way through my motherly heart. Pray for your shepherds that, united in my Son, they can always joyfully proclaim the Word of God. Thank you."

Praying that you live in Love and Light,

As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself,
and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend..

I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon;
before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.

Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer
until 4 AM or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful
tunes of the 60 &70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love .. I will.

I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body,
and will dive into the waves with abandon if I choose to,
despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They, too, will get old.

I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again,
some of life is just as well forgotten. And I eventually remember
the important things.

Sure, over the years my heart has been broken.
How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when a child
suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But broken
hearts are what give us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart
never broken is pristine and sterile and will never know the joy of being

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray,
and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face.
So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver.

As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less
about what other people think. I don't question myself
anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.

So, to answer your question, I like being old.
It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live
forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could
have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every
single day(if I feel like it).

Remember that. . .
Your presence is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through, whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.
Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and your prize.
Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.
Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot of love goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life's treasures, are people . . . together.
Realize that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have health, hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a star.
And don't ever forget . . .
For even a day . . .
How very special you are.

I forgive you , and I forgive myself.

Forgiveness is letting go of the pain
and accepting what has happened
because it will not change.

Forgiveness is dismissing the blame.
Choices were made that caused the hurt;
we each could have chosen differently,
but we didn't.

Forgiveness is looking at the pain ,
learning the lessons it has produced ,
and understanding what we have learned.

Forgiveness allows us to move on
toward a better understanding
of universal love
and our true purpose.

Forgiveness is knowing that love
is the answer to all questions
and that we all
are in some way connected.

Forgiveness is starting over
with the knowledge
that we have gained.
It is saying :
''I forgive you , and I forgive myself.
I hope you can do the same.''

You cannot fix stupid!  Huh!

I handed the teller @ my bank a withdrawal slip for $400.00
I said "May I have large bills, please."
She looked at me and said "I'm sorry sir, all the bills are the same size."
When I got up off the floor I explained it to her....
When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to
pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it.
We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'it's open!'
His reply: 'I know. I already got that side.'
This was at the Ford dealership in Blue Springs , MO.
We had to have the garage door repaired.
The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that
we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one
Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.'
I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4..
He said, 'NO, it's not..' Four is larger than two.'
We haven't used Sears repair since.
My  daughter and I went through the Mc Don ald's take-out
window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill.
Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.'
I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a
dollar bill back.  She sighed and went to get the manager,
who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said
'We're sorry but we could not do that kind of thing.'
The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change.
Do not confuse the clerks at McD's.
I live in a semi rural area.
We recently had a new neighbor call the local township

She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.'
He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg lettuce.

I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, 'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?'
To which I replied, 'If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?'
He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.'
Happened at MCI.
The stoplight on the corner buzzes when it's safe to cross the street.  I was  crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine.
She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for.
I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.
Appalled, she responded, 'What on earth are blind people doing  driving?'
She  was a probation officer in  Olathe , KS
At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker who was

Our manager commented cheerfully, 'This is fun.
We should do this more often.' Not another word was spoken.

"Our Lady of Kibeho"

I wanted to report that I have read 60% of "Our Lady of Kibeho", even neglecting my chores so that I could keep reading.  This is probably THE BEST book that I have ever read! I have highlighted many, many quotes of Our Lady to the Seers, including how to pray the 7 Sorrows on one's rosary, and where Our Lady teaches us HOW to pray.

She says that after kneeling and holding Rosary in hand, an individual must completely open one's heart to God.  And although God sees and knows our sins, we MUST look into our hearts and we must confess each and every sign to God and ask for His forgiveness.  Once this is complete, we now have a cleansed heart to take to our Heavenly Father in prayer.  We pray for our families and friends, for the welfare of ourselves and our families, we pray that we will be led to live a more pious life, we pray for our friends and families who have passed away, and we THANK HIM for his infinite love and mercy upon us.

Our Lady has emphasized in all of the Marian apparitions around the world that we must pray the Rosary DAILY! Our Lady implores us to come to conversion, meaning, to convert our hearts to Jesus and to let him into our hearts to live there. She tells us that this is the most power prayer that we can recite.  I am so guilty of not saying the Rosary enough, but this book has changed my life forever.  I pray that I will take the time to pray the Rosary every day and to meditate on the 7 Sorrows. She taught the seers in Kibeho how to pray the Rosary of the 7 Sorrows. The following will guide you:

The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows

This rosary recalls the seven major sorrows that the Virgin Mary suffered through—albeit with love and compassion—during the life, trials, and agonizing death of her son, Jesus Christ. It's very special to the immaculate heart of the Blessed Mother, and she wants all of us to say it as often as possible.
The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows dates back to the Middle Ages, but it gained new popularity following the Marian apparitions in Kibeho, which have been approved by the Catholic Church. During Mary's apparitions to Marie-Claire Mukangango, she assigned the young visionary a mission to reintroduce this special rosary to the world. Before her untimely death, Marie-Claire did just that, traveling widely to teach it to thousands of people, who then taught it to thousands of others.

During her visitations to Kibeho, the Holy Virgin revealed that this rosary possesses immense spiritual power for those who say it sincerely. She promised that when prayed with an open and repentant heart, the rosary would win us the Lord’s forgiveness for our sins and free our souls from guilt and remorse. She also promised that over time, the rosary would develop within us a deep understanding of why we sin, and that knowledge would give us the wisdom and strength to change or remove any internal flaws, weakness of character, or personality faults, causing unhappiness and keeping us from enjoying the joyous life God intended for us to live.

The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows contains all the power you need to change your life for the better, obtain peace and happiness, realize your true potential, fulfill all your dreams, and grow closer to God’s light. During one of her many apparitions to Marie-Claire, the Holy Virgin suggested that it be prayed as often as possible, but especially on Tuesdays and Fridays: Tuesday being the day Mary first appeared to Mary-Claire, and Friday being the day Christ was crucified. The Blessed Mother also stressed that the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows is intended to complement—and in no way replace—the traditional rosary. Pray both rosaries regularly and you’ll be doubly blessed!

* * *

The following is a description of this amazing rosary as the Virgin Mother herself taught it to Marie-Claire in Kibeho. It may be prayed aloud or contemplated silently, alone or with others; the key is for the prayers, reflections, and meditations to always come from the depths of your heart.

I speak from experience when I promise that you’ll never regret learning this wonderful rosary and that you’ll soon lose track of the countless blessings that praying it will bring into your life. It’s my hope that more people than ever before will learn just how amazing this rosary is.

Please note that you don’t necessarily need any special beads to say these prayers; just follow the diagram and instructions below. (It is, however, important that when you reach each sorrowful mystery, you take a moment to meditate on the magnitude of Mary’s suffering … and the strength of her love.)

1. On the large medal at the bottom of the rosary:

It's wake up time.

You never again have to believe that circumstances outside of you control your life.  You never again have to believe that it is wrong to want.  You never again have to believe that some great power outside yourself is pulling the strings, or that anyone or anything other than you is in control.  You never again have to be afraid of "them" or "it," no matter who or what they may be, unless you so choose.

So how did we get in this mess?  You got it!  More than six billion people (plus however many more there have been over countless centuries) being born into vulnerable, lackful, fearful vibrations, all focusing on what they don't want and getting more of it.

It was never intended to be that way, but in our anxious state of needing to find a reason why things never seemed to go the way we wanted them to, we figured it had to be the fault of some factor separate from us:  the government, the economy, our boss, our marriage, our background, our education, our rotten luck, even God.

The real reality is we have come here to thrive, and prosper, and live this grand human experience in lighthearted joy, not in struggle and pain.  We have come here to have fun while we learn, to grow without suffering, and to harvest our desires in the absolute knowledge that we can have it all once we learn how to handle our energies . . . meaning . . . our emotions.

We came here with a guaranteed freedom of choice mandated by the very nature of our existence.  The time has come for us to exercise that birthright.  We are caught in no one's web.  We are bound by no circumstance.  We are victims to no conditions.  Rather, we are beings who possess the sacred ability to implement any outlandish desire our limitless minds can concoct, for we possess unregulated, unrestricted, uncontested freedom of choice, no matter what those choices may be.

It's wake up time.  It's time we remembered how to make those choices happen.  It's time to take our heads out of the sand and accept that it's no accident we get what we get in life.  It's time for us to stop creating from the improper default setting and remember the secrets of the ancient wisdom we once knew so well before recorded history, wisdom that allowed us to create our passions with simple intent.  It is time.

You deserve it all.  You deserve to have all of your aspirations realized, no matter what they may be.  You have only to want it and feeeeel it, and a whole new life of extraordinary happiness will be yours.  Not can be; will be!  That is a cosmic guarantee.

I wish you forgiveness...
I wish you forgiveness, both the power to forgive and the wisdom and strength to seek forgiveness.  One of the most powerful forces in the world, forgiveness frees us from anger, resentment, and the lack of peace that results from these emotions.

Forgiveness allows us to move on with our lives, leaving the mistakes of the past where they belong--in our pasts rather than in our present.  I wish you the ability to see clearly when it's important for you to ask forgiveness for the hurts that you might have caused others.  Often, we don't clearly see the results of our own actions, and others suffer needlessly, wondering why we've done what we've done.  We often can clear the air and clear our lives and ease our minds with a simple apology, but we need to know when such an apology is necessary, and when one will be helpful.

I wish you the graciousness and the grace to accept apologies when they are offered sincerely.  Such forgiveness is important both for yourself and the person who is apologizing; refusal to accept an apology affects you more than it affects the person who is apologizing.  Accepting apologies is another way of saying "I am ready to move on with my life, and I am ready to put behind me the things that belong there."  Forgiveness is one of the strongest healing forces in the world, and it must not be asked for or accepted lightly or without sincerity; it must also not be rejected when offered sincerely.

Our Lady of Kibeho: Mary Speaks to the World from the Heart of Africa

Dear Friends in Christ:

I am so excited about a book that was recommended to me by a Catholic Sister in Christ who lives in Texas and is friends with my Mother and Daddy.  It is called: "Our Lady of Kibeho: Mary Speaks to the World from the Heart of Africa."  I began reading this book on my Kindle this evening and am so enraptured that I cannot put it down.  It is the story of the author, Imacuee Ilibagaza who lives in Rwanda.  I have been told "You will be amazed at her strength, love and she was able to forgive. .... that the book explains The Rosary of the 7 Sorrows."  I am happy to recommend this wonderful read to all my Catholic, as well as non-Catholic, friends. The book can be ordered on Amazon; I downloaded mine to my Kindle for $4.49 and it's $4.49 well spent! Happy reading ....

With love and light,

Imacuee Ilibagaza

Book Description
Publication Date: April 1, 2010
Thirteen years before the bloody 1994 genocide that swept across Rwanda and left more than a million people dead, the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ appeared to eight young people in the remote village of Kibeho. Through these visionaries, Mary and Jesus warned of the looming holocaust, which (they assured) could be averted if Rwandans opened their hearts to God and embraced His love.

Mary also sent messages to government and church leaders to instruct them how to end the ethnic hatred simmering in their country. She warned them that Rwanda would become “a river of blood”—a land of unspeakable carnage—if the hatred of the people was not quickly quelled by love. Some leaders listened, but very few believed. The prophetic and apocalyptic warnings tragically came true during 100 horrifying days of savage bloodletting and mass murder.

Much like what happened at similar sites such as Fátima and Lourdes, the messengers of Kibeho were at first mocked and disbelieved. But as miracle after miracle occurred in the tiny village, tens of thousands of Rwandans journeyed to Kibeho to behold the apparitions. After the genocide, and two decades of rigorous investigation, Our Lady of Kibeho became the first and only Vatican-approved Marian (related to the Virgin Mary) site in all of Africa. But the story still remained largely unknown.

Now, however, Immaculée Ilibagiza has changed all that. She has made many pilgrimages to Kibeho, both before and after the holocaust, has personally witnessed true miracles, and has spoken with a number of the visionaries themselves. What she has discovered will deeply touch your heart!
